After Adele Splits From Her Husband, Fans Are Very Concerned — About Her Next Album! WTF?!

As we reported on Friday evening, Adele has split from her husband, Simon Konecki, after more than seven years (and one child) together.

The split comes as something of a surprise, to say the least, considering how tight-lipped Adele has been at points in the past about her private life. But it’s big news this weekend, and a notably sad moment for the now-estranged couple and their son, Angelo, who they welcomed to the world together in 2012.

Now, though, the pair has split — and fans had a LOT to say about that on social media both Friday night and Saturday morning. Among the reactions to Adele’s breakup news, there was quite a bit of chatter about what this might mean for her next album, with fans assuming that the heartache was eventually going to produce a ton of great music.

Others noticed how weird it was that fans were immediately (and only) thinking about the music rather than the woman — and some on Twitter weren’t afraid to call out bad actors for what they thought was an inappropriate take on the divorce news. They voiced their opinions on how wrong it felt to only think of Adele the singer, and not Adele the person — which, honestly, is totally understandable!
