Rudy Giuliani: ‘There’s Nothing Wrong With Taking Information From The Russians’

Rudy Giuliani really stepped in it this time, y’all.

President Donald Trump‘s lawyer made the rounds on the Sunday morning cable news shows today, and while most times he does that we’re apt to ignore the former mayor of NYC as best we can, every so often he says something so ridiculous that it just can’t be ignored. This is one of those times…

On CNN‘s State of the Union with host Jake Tapper, Rudy went in on how the Mueller Report doesn’t actually damage Trump (it does), and how the American people don’t consider the actions Trump’s campaign team performed to be important (they do).

But at one point (about a minute and a half into the video, above), Rudy takes the cake when he says, verbatim, during an argument with Tapper (below):

“There’s nothing wrong with taking information from the Russians.”

Um… WHAT?!

You want to re-think that, Rudy??

Of course, Trump is now starting to come under heat (again) for the contents of the Mueller Report, and even though it appears Trump himself won’t be impeached, or go to jail, or anything because of it, it does turn out there were some super-shady people in the President’s circle during the campaign back in 2016.

Giuliani is clearly very angry in having to carry water for the Cheeto-in-Chief yet again, but alas, that’s his job… it’s just interesting (and a bit unfortunate, maybe?!) that Rudy thinks it’s not that big of a deal to receive and share information with the Russians about other American politicians.

Rudy went on Fox News Sunday to talk about the Mueller Report, too, and while the show was definitely a bit kinder to the former Mayor than CNN had been, Rudy’s feet were still held to the fire over conflicts of interest and Trump’s apparent conduct based on the report.

Unreal. Not as bad as the first interview in the video (up top), of course, but Rudy is quite the dodger, ain’t he?? The crazy man’s crazy lawyer! How does he have a job??

Can’t even believe he still works with the PRESIDENT in any official capacity, but with this administration, nothing should come as a surprise any more.
